i love flutes and every other organ pipe which produce resonant sound through standing waves of air.

i never knew the physics behind it when i was a kid. all i knew was , if i blow in air sound comes out like magic. and man did i fall in love with that.

even though i know the science behind it now, whenever i pick a flute up and try to blow air, all i feel is magic.
